Break the habit of extremist thinking.

Before my revelations about life led me to found my own business, I remember constantly telling my co-workers to "relax", and "put it into perspective". 'It' could be any number of things that was causing them stress in their life. Perhaps a Flat tire would ruin what was otherwise a wonderful day... or a promotion, might lead them to undue pompous celebration that created resentment amongst their peers.
It seemed up to me to remind them, that a flat tire was so insignificant, a promotion so temporal, that they shouldn't let it affect their inner-happiness.

Some years ago, it came to me, during a discussion with Arbiter Eric C. that my co-workers anxiety was nothing more than an example of extremist thinking. Our society tends to spin that word, so that we associate extremist thought with a radical movement within Islam, but in fact - it is something present within all of us.

This black and white thinking does not just color our views on politics and religion, like my former co-workers, it affects how we go through the day. If you are wrapped up in such extremist thinking, every small problem will bring on inordinate stress, and every minor success will overly inflate your ego.

You must, therefore, seek to reduce this extremist thought. Begin by reminding yourself that a day, a week, or a year after the event, it will not matter. Tell yourself that it could be worse, or on the flip side, it could be better: but it is, what it is.

Channel your anxiety away from your inner self, and work to eliminate its source - extremist thinking. Only then can you start to live with balanced emotions.

Who am I? Well, I was born in a small Southeastern city in 1976. I worked my way through college, graduated with a degree, and migrated into middle-management. About eight years ago, I realized that this was not the path for me. I wasn't happy, wasn't fulfilled, wasn't leaving a positive impact on the world around me. So I quit my job, volunteered at several local charities, and began meditation, and research into the human condition.

Four years ago, this process culminated in the publishing of my personal work "Inner Resting Place of the Soul" which is not currently for sale. Having met several like-minded people during the course of my journey, I brought them together one eventful night three years ago, and together we formed the Society of Rebirth and Ascension. The rest is history.

Although the Society must maintain a certain level of anonymity due to bias and prejudice in the local community against anything that is seen as "different" (Even though our message is simple, wholesome, and has changed many lives.).. we have opened this internet outreach to support and be supported.

We always welcome assistance in providing aid to the unfortunate. Our recent program: Textbooks for Students, is aimed at assisting local students in acquiring the resources they need for education. Please consider a small purchase. Just a dollar, if purchased by every visitor, could easily save a score of students and their families from worry and stress. We should have a purchase button for this outreach within the week. Check back for updates!

Greetings!

Well, after many months of persuasion, Arbiter's Eric C. and Greg N. have convinced me to create a more personal blog than that of the Society of Rebirth and Ascension. This way, perhaps, I can share a more personal message to those visitors who arrive daily to our internet home.

Of course, there are some drawbacks. Indeed, I had initially thought not to write directly except via email. Quite simply because there are far to many "enlightenment gurus" who create and maintain scam sites built around their personal teaching, usually they are trying to sell something, be it an e-book, or donations. I did not want the Society to be viewed in such a light.

Remember, those are false teachers: After all that I have experienced in my own journey, all of the success, and personal fulfillment that has left me awed and humbled - how can I "charge" others for what should be free? That is counter to the principles I have put forth in the Path. We charge only what is required to fund this organization, and spread these great teachings of inner-peace and personal fulfillment.

I believe that it is time for us to rise up, as a species, and fight back against the tides of ignorance, hate, and deceit, that have left us lost and hurting. After having tasted bliss, and joy... and after watching my teachings bring those emotions to others - I know that this is the future. If you know that the world you see on television, is not the world as it should be... you are ready to walk the Path.

Thank you for your time this beautiful Sunday morning, remember, you may contact us at SRAAmail@gmail.com
